Installation & Maintenance Guidelines

• Adhesives & Grout: It is absolutely critical to use high-quality, white thin-set mortars specifically rated for natural stone. Using a grey or dark adhesive will shadow through the bright white calcitic base and dull the final appearance. Grout color selection will also dramatically define the visibility of the mosaic’s geometry.

• Sealing: As a calcitic stone, it is highly recommended to apply a premium penetrating sealer before grouting (to act as a grout release and prevent pigment absorption) and post-installation to protect the stone against moisture and stains.

• Cleaning: Use pH-neutral stone cleaners. Strictly avoid acidic (lemon, vinegar), bleach-based, or abrasive chemicals which will etch the calcium carbonate structure and ruin the finish.
